With the objective of creating a structured methodology and strategy for program-level evaluation, the MBA department has established the Program Assessment & Quality Improvement committee.

 

Objective:

To establish a structured framework for executing a systematic evaluation of the program, ensuring its continuous assessment and advancement.

Responsibilities of PAQIC:

The following are the different working domains that PAQIC covers.

  • Track the CO, PO & PSO outcomes.
  • Assess the course outcomes and its mapping for the new courses added in the curriculum.
  • Compute the course attainments, PO attainment and PSO attainment at the end of each semester.
  • Validate the assessment process.
  • Perform the assessment of these outcomes and plan the strategies for the weak outcomes.
  • Interact with Module and Course Coordinators to analyze the outcome of attainments and ensure its compliance in all respect.

 

 Program curriculum and Teaching Learning Process:

  • Track adherence with the academic calendar.
  • Ensuring adoption of modern and effective teaching learning process.
  • Facilitate adoption of innovative student centric, participatory, and project-based teaching learning process.
  • Arrange the BoS meetings. Maintain its documents such as agenda and minutes of meetings.
  • Propose the modifications in the curriculum for approval from BoS.

Monitor Students Performance:

  • Motivate the students towards participating in various activities.
    • Attend / Organize workshops.
    • Develop industry standard projects and working models.
    • Publish papers.
    • Participate in project contests.
  • Record internship activities
  • Arrange activities to enhance student placements.

Record faculty contributions:

  • Record participation of faculty in seminars, workshops, conferences etc.
  • Document organization of FDPs and faculty trainings

Maintain the facilities and technical support.

  • Ensure the adequacy, maintenance and proper allocation of support structure and services to enhance teaching learning process.

  • Include topics beyond the syllabus and additional experiments in the curriculum to meet POs and PEOs.
  • Through IQAC, arrange faculty internal audits.

Frequency of the Meeting: The Program Assessment & Quality Improvement committee meeting is conducted every semester.

 

Intercollegiate Event

 The Department of Management Studies (MBA Department) of our institute organized a National Level inter collegiate competition called 'ManEDGE-2025' on 12th March 2025. ManEDGE-2025 was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Mr. Shripad M. Kolhatkar, Co-founder of Genericart Medicine Pvt. Ltd., along with Prof. (Dr.) Mrs. L. S. Admuthe, Director of DKTE's TEI, Ichalkaranji, and the sponsors. The inauguration took place in the presence of the HOD of MBA Prof. P.S. Jadhav, ManEDGE 2025 event coordinator Dr. Mrs. Priyanka Patil, student coordinators and participating students. The event witnessed an overwhelming response of more than 417 participants from 15 Management institutes from the states of Maharashtra and Karnataka.

 ManEDGE-2024 

The Department of Management Studies organized an intercollegiate competition called 'ManEDGE-2024' on 1st March 2024. The event witnessed an overwhelming response and more than 205 participants from various management institutes from the states of Maharashtra and Karnataka in the following events:

1) SMART INVESTOR: An event based on Share Market. Students traded in the share market in real time by creating their own portfolio by using virtual money. The ultimate aim of participants in the event was to earn maximum profit by making optimum investment of available budget.

2) SALES GURU: An event based on Marketing Strategies. Students participated in this event to show their marketing skills

3) MANAS: An event discovering every aspect of HR. Event includes aptitude test, debate and case study.

4) SHARK TANK: An event based on a Business Plan. Students presented their business plan and business ideas through PowerPoint Presentation. An event witnessed very unique and realistic business plans from its participants.

On March 21, 2024, our institute's MBA Department hosted MANEDGE-2024, an intercollegiate management event. During the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Deepak Dodiya, Partner Dodiya Group of Companies, Sangli, was the Chief Guest.
In his speech, he provided insightful information about the value of internships and sustaining positive relationships. He went on to say that mastering the balancing act and working hard are vital. He offered advice on how to gain an advantage in order to succeed as a manager or business owner.
Mr. Ravi Awade, DKTE Trustee, inspired aspiring managers and brightened the atmosphere with his speech. The welcome address was delivered by Prof. P. S. Jadhav.
All the sponsors, co-sponsors were present on this occasion. Around 205 students from various Management institutes of Sangli, Satara, Belagavi and Kolhapur districts participated in the event.

'ManEDGE' Inaugural function
The M.B.A Department of our institute organized an intercollegiate management event called ‘MANEDGE-2k23’ on 18th May 2023. Prof. P. S. Jadhav welcomed the gathering. Mr. Digvijay D. Mohite, Cluster head, DVP Sales Purnartha Investment Advisors PVT. LTD. was the Chief Guest for the inauguration function. He gave valuable information in his speech about the need of Management education, technical skills and communication skills required in this competitive corporate world. Hon. Secretary, Dr. (Mrs) S. U. Awade enlightened the environment with her visionary speech and inspired the students. Around 220 students from various Management institutes of Sangli, Satara, Belagavi and Kolhapur districts participated in the event.

 ‘ManEDGE 2022’ Inaugural Function

MBA Department of our Institute organized an intercollegiate management event ManEDGE-2022’ on Wednesday, 16th March 2022. Mr. Sachin Kumbhoje - Co-Founder & CEO of ‘OpEX Accelerator Pvt. Ltd., Kolhapur’ was the chief guest for the inaugural function. He gave valuable insight about start-ups.He also shared entrepreneurship skills and attitude required to start new business and qualities required to be a successful entrepreneur. He insisted to have positive attitude to be a successful entrepreneur. Director Prof. (Dr.) P. V. Kadole enlightened the gathering by addressing the students to give their best to learn management skills in this short span of two years of MBA. He also motivated students to utilize resources effectively. Major Sponsors of the event Mr. Anubhav Sharma, Mrs. Monica Baldawa were present for the function. Around 350 plus students from various management institutes from Maharashtra and Karnataka participated in the event.

The Department of Management Studies(MBA Department) of our institute organized an intercollegiate competition called 'ManEDGE-2022' on 16th March 2022. The event witnessed an overwhelming response and more than 350 participants from 15 Management institutes from the states of Maharashtra and Karnataka participated in the following events:
1) SMART INVESTOR: An event based on Share Market.
66 students participated in this event in which students traded in the share market in real time by creating their own portfolio by using virtual money. The ultimate aim of participants in the event was to earn maximum profit by making optimum investment of available budget.
2) SALES GURU: An event based on Marketing Strategies.
32 different teams participated in this event to show their marketing skills through two rounds where in the first round was - actual selling of products on campus and the second round was digital marketing of the products of major sponsors. The winner and runner up were declared on the basis of points earned in both the rounds.
3) MANAS: An event discovering every aspect of HR.
36 students participated in the event to brush-up their HR skills. In this event three rounds were conducted. In the first-round students have undergone an aptitude test through online mode. In the second round an HR debate was conducted amongst shortlisted candidates and then separate cases were given to students in the third round for their analysis and presentation of solutions.

4) SHARK TANK: An event based on a Business Plan.
12 teams participated in this event to present their business plan and business ideas through PowerPoint Presentation. An event witnessed very unique and realistic business plans from its participants.
Event was judged by: - Sourabh Toshniwal (C.A., CMA) and Mr.Rahul Satpute (Entrepreneur)
5) BIZ QUIZ: An event based on General Knowledge.
70 students participated in this event where they showed their general knowledge in two different rounds. First round was an aptitude test followed by a Rapid Fire round.

Prize distribution ceremony of an intercollegiate event ‘ManEDGE 2022’ was held on Wednesday 16th March 2022 at Auditorium Hall of DKTE in the presence of event sponsors Mr.Anubhav Sharma, Ms.Monika Baldawa, Mr. Ajay Pareek, faculty members from DKTE, KLE Nipani, KLE Chikodi and student coordinators. Winners of various events were felicitated at the hands of dignitaries.
