A) For First Year B.Tech.

1. Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate

i. The candidate should be an Indian National.

ii. Candidate should have passed HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics are compulsory and optional subjects are Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology & Technical Vocational. Choose any one from optional subjectand secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of Backward Class candidates)in the above subjects taken together and obtained score in MHT-CET.

Or

Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);

Or

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by UGC and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only); and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject

iii. Obtained score in MHT-CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

 

2. All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates.-

i. The candidate should be an Indian National;

ii. Candidate should have passed HSC (Std. XII) examination of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education or its equivalent examination with subjects English, Physics, Mathematics are compulsory and optional subjects are Chemistry / Biology / Biotechnology & Technical Vocational. Choose any one from optional subjectand secured a minimum of 50% marks (45% in case of Backward Class candidates)in the above subjects taken together; and obtained score in JEE (Main) Paper I or MHT-CET.

Or

Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);

Or

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by University Grants Commission and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) and and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject.

 

  • GOI nominee and J & K migrant have a quota of one seat in each department. They have to apply to Directorate of Technical Education, Maharashtra State for release of seats.
  • Studetns from J & K can get admission through PMSSS scheme of AICTE (https://www.aicte-jk-scholarship-gov.in/)

 

B) Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) – State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidates –

i. The Candidate should be an Indian National.

ii. Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent.

Or

Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of Candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging toMaharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject provided that Students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics /Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering ProgramAlong with second year subjects.

Any other criterion declared by appropriate authority from time to time

 

Document Required

Candidates have to produce the documents given below in original along with one set of photocopy on the day of counselling.

  • Mark sheet of class 10thand class 12th
  • Passing out certificate of class 10th and class 12th
  • MHT-CET or JEE score card
  • School Leaving Certificate
  • Age, Nationality &Domicile certificate
  • CastCertificate and Caste Validity Certificate (for reserved category candidates)
  • Non Creamy Layer Certificate valid upto 31st March (Next Year) (Except SC & ST candidates)
  • Passport size photographs
